Terms of Service

About the service

Volets France renovates and builds new shutters for Scandinavian homeowners in Languedoc, with a workshop in the region. We take the shutters to the workshop for the work and deliver them finished and adjusted.

Process and quote

After contact and a site visit, you get a written proposal with scope, timeline and price. The price in the quote is fixed, not running hourly billing. Materials are additional and quoted once timber and fittings are assessed on site, since the cost varies with shutter type and availability.

Payment

You approve the quote normally against a 50% deposit, with the remaining amount due when the work is finished. Which VAT rate applies is always confirmed in the quote and on the invoice.

Launch discount

A launch discount may apply for new customers during the startup period, in which case it's visible directly in the quote, nothing to ask for.

Changes during the work

If further damage or needs beyond what was quoted are discovered (e.g. hidden rot), we contact you before the work continues, and any addition is priced separately.

Cancellation and changes

Contact us at jean-claude@ducomaison.fr if you want to change or cancel an ongoing job.

Photos and documentation

We document the work with photos along the way. See our privacy policy for full details on how we handle personal data.
